Hi,
Our 522, updated to the lastest version, had an issue with the programming guide this weekend.
On Saturday I noticed the guide had not been updated, so I forced a download and all was well, until this morning. I was look for a show to record while I was at work and the guide showed NO information after around 9:30am. Also, all my timers were gone.
I tried the standard power off/reset but it kept hanging on aquiring signal...
So, I called Dish and they had me change the transponder/satellite and then restart which caused the guide to download. My timers were restored and all is well.
My question for you more knowledgable/experienced people is, why suddnely would the guide stop downloading at night? We always turn off the receiver and it is set to reboot at 3:00 am everyday. Which it appears to do because when I get up and turn on the TV I have to click SELECT to view a show.
Any help is appreciated!!
