Guys, I have a question for you.
How can I hook-up 4 DVR and 4 D-10 Receiver. TO a tripe phase LNB.
This is a comercial job I have been asked to look at.
Thanks for the help.

Sure, you'll need either 1 expensive 5 x 12 switcher or 2 inexpensive 4 x 8 switchers in parallel.

Do you have any details?

2 of these type units: http://www.solidsignal.com/prod_display.asp?PROD=SP48DTV&xzoom=zoom

or 1 of these: http://www.solidsignal.com/prod_display.asp?CAT=Multiswitches&PROD=SKY5120a

The Eagle Aspen is just one brand, there are plenty good ones out there. Stick with powered if you can afford it.

Sorry to ask this, but do you know how to hook up two switches in parallel?

Get 4 satellite splitter rated to 2150 mhz and take each line out of the dish into one splitter. Then take the two outputs of the splitter into 1 input on each multiswitch. MAKE SURE THAT THE TWO OUTPUTS OF EACH SPLITTER GO INTO THE SAME PORT ON EACH SWITCH OTHERWISE, IT WON'T WORK!

When you say satellite splitter your are not talking about diplexers right.

Since you only need 12 outputs

you could take 4 outputs from one switch, put them to the input of the other switch. And hook them in series....

You will end up with 12 outputs

I would still need 2 switches, it would eliminate some wirring.

That's exactly how mine is wired.
