View Full Version : Trying to find AT9 Coordinates
Can someone out there with an H20 put in my zip 95689 and tell me the azimuth, elevation, tilt for the AT9 5LNB dish.
Building house up in the mountains and I need to pre-sight as much as possible so I can have some trees cut down if needed - getting these coordinates has been a trial since I don't have the H20 recievers at my current location.
I even contacted D-TV tech support, customer install support you name it - they don't have them - spent over 1/2 hour on phone as they searched their website - the only tools they had is for the Dual LNB and he did find the 3 LNB but nothing for the 5.
Anyway- any help out there would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Mr. \h3x,
Are you in Alaska? Do you have the crazy big Alaska/Hawaii dish?

Don't have any dish yet.. I was told by DTV CSR that I should use an AT9 dish, but the Installers (that will probably never come here because they never call to schedule an appt. [its been 1 1/2 months already]) say I need two 1.2m dishes.. I ask what model # is the dish, and they won't tell me.
Yes, you need 2 1.2m dishes to get everything. AT9 is not for Alaska. 1.2m dishes are not for self install!

Well I don't have many options here.. They aren't calling me back when they promise to do so and I've been constantly calling D* over a period of a month wondering when the hell they plan on coming out here to install the dish. (The damn installers are from California).
It's not fair that I can't get D* when I was told I could when I ordered.
I'm going to take my chances with a AT9.. Could someone please tell me the measurements of 99615 based on their receiver?

A fools errand...get the right dishes for your locale.....No installer in their right mind will put in an AT9 for you in Alaska....

I live in the most southern part of Alaska, excluding the strip where Juneau resides.. I had a friend who used to install dishes for a living come out here with his satellite compass and he told me I should be able to pick up the 101, 110 and 119 off one of those 5 lnb dishes.
