TiVo and SONICblue Inc. on Tuesday pressed their claims for technologies covering the fundamental operation of digital video recorders, with SONICblue threatening to sue its rival unless licensing talks produce a breakthrough.
Meanwhile, San Jose, California-based TiVo said it had received two new patents covering fundamental DVR operations.
