Meh. I don't listen to those two channels. I don't listen to the Opie and Anthony channel, and I'd rather have a general sports channel like The Sporting News or FSR rather than MLB.

They're likely still working on it, it will likely be changed by 6am though. Hopefully D* fixes the bandwith on Liquid Metal so it no longer has the AM Radio sound like MLB Home Plate did.

I never listened to High Voltage but now that baseball season has kicked in I was listening to Home Plate rather frequently. It's funny that they had Home Plate on during the off season but now that the season has started and interest would presumably be higher they take it off.

That could be why XM made it exclusive to them. Get us hooked on the channels, then make us get XM to continue to listen to them.

I have sent emails about The Torch and told them its included with TC+ and above and it says channel not purchased etc.I called last night about it and the csr was very rude and hung up on me about it.THEY WILL NOT FIX THIS! I have no idea why? everyone please email or call about it.They keep telling me the old reset receiver?Huh?I think everyones needs reset then! NOT!Directv customer
service is really going down the tubes.

From this post it sounds more like DTV pulled the plug.

Thanks for writing. I'm sorry to hear that you're not having a picture on channel 829. Based on what you've told me, I have re-sent your programming information to your receiver. This fixes some of the most basic problems with signal reception. Hopefully this fixed the problem right away. If it didn't, another fix you can do from home is to try resetting your system. Here’s how:

If your receiver has a reset button on the inside of your access card door, you can simply press it and wait while the receiver resets itself. If your receiver does not have a reset button, or if pressing the button does not correct the problem, try these manual steps:

1. Leave the receiver box on.
2. Unplug the receiver from the electrical outlet. (If your receiver’s light is still on, you have pulled the wrong plug.)
3. Leave receiver unplugged for 15 seconds.
4. Reconnect it to the electrical outlet and return to normal viewing.

If neither of these fixes the problem, you may find some additional help at DIRECTV.com/troubleshooting. Otherwise, please call our technical support center at 1-800-531-5000 and select the option for technical assistance. Our Technical Support agents are trained to walk you through a number of troubleshooting steps which are too difficult to try to talk through over email. I just got off the Phone with D* and they went through all the trouble shooting steps and then the tech got the Programing Supervisor and Then the tech was then told that the changes was made yesterday and that one channel didn't get the update. they are working on it trying to get it come through and they said it should clear up by 24 to 48hr for all Total Choice Plus Customers. and i also told them that i saw on the internet that it was alot other people that was complaining also.

Glad to hear it, LMckin. I just spent 25 minutes on the phone with D*, with the CSR even contacting her supervisor, only to get hung up on when she tried to return to me.:rolleyes:

O & A to replace David Lee Roth on some major stations RUMORED to be coming soon and one of them is in my area. I hate the DLR show and hope this RUMOR is true.

What an amazing week for O&A. First, their "announcement" of syndication in 7 major markets via CBS RAdio (more on that on Orbitcast (http://www.orbitcast.com/archives/more-on-opie-anthony-and-cbs-radio.html)), and now....from Orbitcast:
Opie & Anthony to return to DirecTV's XM lineup! (http://www.orbitcast.com/archives/opie-anthony-back-on-directv.html)
The pests will enjoy this one. Not even a full work week has gone by since DirecTV removed O&A from the lineup, and word has it that DirecTV is reinstating them back today or tomorrow. According to people familiar with the matter, DirecTV was overwhelmed by the response (read: pest attack) and has decided to bring back Opie and Anthony.

No word on whether MLB Home Plate will return as well, or what the channel number will be.

I just spoke with ELo and he said Direct TV called him AMAZED with the support for XM202. They are putting it back on later today or tomorrow and making an official announcment on Tuesday.
