http://ekb.dbstalk.com/dishlist.htm Take a look at the news.
Spirit has a message on their website stating:
Unfortunately, a problem with a transponder aboard one of Echostar's satellites (beyond our control) is preventing you from being able to watch SPIRIT at this time.
We've been assured that this problem will be resolved by Echostar shortly. Thanks for your patience.
3 Angels has this statement:
Sky Angel has been experiencing technical difficulties with their satellite system which provides programming for 3ABN. They are working on a solution and plan to have service operational soon.
Surely Sky Angel had a clause in their contract with Dish that they would get one of their transponders back if one that Sky Angel was using died.
Sky Angel PR says it is a technical problem. They are working to get it fixed.

OK, if E* is having problems with a transponder how come the other channels on TP32 are still working? Fishy. Must be some other kind of 'technical problem'.
Looked like no Video or Audio being modulated on those PIDs.

Did they raise the FEC? Think that is what's happened James but I cannot confirm.
See ya

The FEC is 3/4. There is substantial reserve bandwidth on this Tp. They just are not modulating these channels. I have checked Golden Eagle and it is still on AMC 4.

Maybe E*6 will move over to 61.5 so Sky Angel can have their own bird all to themselves.
The channels are back in the EPG, but they say Off Air.

If it were not for other posts confirming that the affected channels are still up on their source satellite (AMC 4) I would have thought that the technical problem was with the reception of these channels at the uplink center.

Important alert from Sky Angel
4/26/06 9pm ET/6pm PT
Several Sky Angel channels are currently experiencing technical difficulties. We are aware of the problem and expect to restore service shortly. Please note that this issue is unrelated to the three channels that have been previously experiencing technical difficulties. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

I went to your link: http://www.skyangel.com/Contact/RequestContact.asp?IdS=0048A6-834C960&x=007|010&~=
The above "quote" was not a part of the link. From reading directly form the link, I interpret this to mean the three channels with technical problems are the same ones we have been discussing, ( 9706 Spirit, 9710 3 Angels and 9715 Golden Eagle) and not new ones.
