Survivor 5 Starting Date???

Ok..i wanted to know when the actual start date for Survivor 5 will be..i think its suppose to be in October? Is that Correct..and when will they be revealing the NEW castaways?

It hasn't been announced yet, but my guess is that Survivor 5 will start either on September 26th or October 3rd. And, I think they will end it before Christmas, rather than letting it go into January - if they let it go to January, there will have to be either some repeat weeks, preempted weeks, or specials weeks. I can't see them showing a new episode on Dec 26th - too many people would miss it.

To answer your second question, the new castaways are usually announced 2-3 weeks prior to the first episode.
