Every few days the video, mostly HD, will kind of stutter. No issue with the audio but the video pauses for a split second every 2-3 seconds. It clears if I do a front panel reset.

Anyone else having this problem?

Everyone is having this problem, if they are not they are fortunate. Try pausing the show you are watching for 10 seconds and see if it gets better. Mine does it everyday on both HD and SD.

I agree. I bet everyone is having this. I noticed it on my SD TV upstairs as well, but you had to look carefully for it to see it. It is certainly more pronounced on the main plasma TV. Very annoying.

Patiently awaiting another software version. Maybe I'll call DISH and register another complaint so they don't sit back on their laurels.

I am having the problem also. Needs a soft boot every few days.
The best channel to see if you have the problem or not is Fox News on channel 205. Watch the scroll line on the bottom and you will really notice the stutter.

Maybe they'll implement the 921 solution...

An automatic, daily, overnight reboot. A giant cop-out, but solved a multitude of problems.

I do another reboot at night to avoid primetime show problems with my 622. It usually keeps my video stuttering down to a minimum. I have it on all stations both sd sat and ota and it mostly starts with the hd channels. Ironic the channels you want to watch with an hd receiver and they seem to suffer the most with the video stutter and the dolby digital drop outs.

I get the same thing, about weekly, on SD & HD. Front-panel reset takes care of it.

Last night was the worst that I've seen, the picture was stuttering and the audio was about 2 seconds ahead of the video. it was almost funny.

I guess E* will take care of the problem sometime soon??

It already does that after the program guide update. Maybe they'll add another setup option to choose additional reboot times!

In a week I haven't seen this problem at all.

Just had to reboot again today to get rid of it. Now up to 21 power cord reboots and counting.
