Finally got the 622 installed yesterday afternoon!! I was rather shocked to have the installer (on time!) willing to call Dish to change the work order from D1000 to a seperate dish for the 3rd slot. I offered him my old D300 but he said he didn't like them and put a second D500 at 61.5. I was suprised he didn't pull 129 with it but as long as my locals don't end up exclusively on 129 I guess I'll be okay! The installer did have some problems and I had to explain why the picture on the second TV was fuzzy (at least he checked it) because of the loop all the way through the LNB(s) after he installed the DPP Seperator. One of the things he didn't do was to actually set the HD output to 720P or 1080i and when I did the picture was TERRIBLE. This turned out to be a bad super-cheapo HDMI cable I bought on-line but when I swapped it with a good one the picture is fine.

Here's the remaining problem - I have no audio over the HDMI connection, I have to connect RCA cables to the TV to get it. I'd like to say "big deal" and live with it but now I don't have enough audio outputs to connect the 622 to the rest of my system the way I want to!! I've searched the site pretty thoroughly and I can't find any other posts with absolutely no audio on HDMI so I hope this isn't a repeat or known issue. My TV manual (Mitsubishi DLP) says it supports audio over HDMI and I've deleted and entered a new connection for the 622 several times. I've not had time to call Technical Support on this yet (too much yard work) and I wanted to get the scoop from the experts here first anyway. Please let me know if anyone else has had the same problems.

Sorry for the (very) long-winded post!!!!:sure:

I have a Mitsubishi DLP TV and was having crackling noises via audio through HDMI and they had to replace the whole chassis. I never had no audio at all through HDMI though?

I have audio on my HDMI connection now! I rebooted it again after changing a bunch of settings and it works, at least for now......
