Is There Any Way to Change the Time R10 Downloads Ads?

I have one line going to a H20 and the other to a R10. Except for a few minutes, I've been out of recording space on the R10 for quite awhile now. So, I left the R10 on the channel I wanted recorded and had my DVD record a show that aired 1-1:30am. I got only a little of my program, and instead, two ads. :mad:

I tend to record a lot late night/ early morning-- the times when the R10 wants to download ads. OTOH, I rarely do any recording mid-morning to mid- afternoon. So, is there anyway I could get it to download ads during the day, instead of late night? Or, better yet, turn off the downloading of ads altogether?

Pick some shows on your NP list, burn them to DVD, then delete them to free up some recording space. Schedule the late night show to record on the R10 to lock the tuner, thus preventing the overnight ads from being recorded.

Or just add a 2nd hard drive to the R10 to increase recording capacity.

How about WATCHING some shows ? That would seem to be the easiest fix to all the problems.
