Did you watch 'Door to Door' on TNT? What do you think?
Having seen the inspiring Bill Porter story on TV, I was amazed at William H. Macy's
very realistic and convincing portrayal. He is definitely in the running for an Emmy.
Some of the other character portrayals, the mother, the lonely female customer, the
gay couple, were also very well done.
Otherwise, I was somewhat disappointed with the disjointed storyline. They took a
wonderfully inspiriing life story and chopped it up to distraction. I know it's difficult
to convey a 50-year story in less than two hours, but still, I think it could have been
done better.
Perhaps I'll watch it again for the inspiration.
