Dish Model 5000 (complete) for sale: BEST OFFER

I have a Dish Model 5000 for sale:

About 2 years old, perfect condition. Includes remote, also in perfect condition, no wear or bad buttons. Includes smart card of course with no issues.

For those that arent familiar with this model:

- Its one of the only receivers that allows you to plug in cable or antenna to integrate local channels into the program guide. (main reason I bought it)

- Its upgradeable to Dolby Digital with optional module
- Its upgradeable to HDTV with optional module
- Has SVIDEO output in addition to composite
- UHF remote - use from any room - antenna included and intact
- Have manual as well (and remote manual!)

$150 was very cheap.... you could have gotten at least $200 for the unit...

I checked completed items on eBay and some went as low as $60 !! In late July they were going for under $100 but came back up to recently sell as much as $200.

Yes in retrospect he got a deal - but I had it here for 2 weeks, and not a peep - if someone had made me an offer here for $100 I would have taken it! So im just glad to be gone with it :)

Can these still be upgraded with HD modulator? It seems like I read someplace that it was no longer being supported, or the modulators were sold out. Anybody know or was I dreaming?
