I currently am using 4 receivers in the house. A recently acquired 622 (purchased), a
811, a 4900 and a 2800. I installed the Dish 1000 and changed the LNB's to a legacy quad and a legacy twin. The 2800 and 4900 are connected to the legacy quad only. The 622 and 811 are connected to the legacy quad and legacy twin via an sw21 switch. Both the 622 and 811 see the switches and acknowledge a 3-sat setup. I don't, however, get a signal lock on 129. The 1000 is properly aimed at 110 and 119 due to the fact that I had reception from both of those prior to attaching the legacy twin lnb. I get signal strength of 93 and 97 on 110 and 119. Is the power of 129 so weak that I would not be able to lock on or is the legacy twin possibly dead?

Anyone?

could be the legacy dual is dead.. what I would do is put that in either the 119 or 110 spot and see if I get signal with the receiver with just that 1 LNB...

Also, you did not say what part of the country you are in, in parts of the east coast 129 is not viable, such as where I am in Boston. I use 61.5 for the Voom HD channels...

on a personal note, if I where you, I would use all DishPro LNB's, much simpler setup, seems to be more reliable. With the DPP Twin and DP Single (or dual) that came with your Dish 1000, you can put that into a DP34 or DP44 and connect your equipment up.. yes, you will probably need DishPro adapters for the older receivers... However, if you go for the DP44 you will only need 1 line for the 622, since you can use the DishPro Plus Splitter for SAT1 and SAT2.... If you use DP34's, you will need 2 of them daisy chained together since you need 5 outputs, plus you would have to run 2 lines to the 622
