I currently have a 508 and a 3900. Each is hooked to a separate SW21 so there is 1 coax coming in for each receiver.
Now, I want to replace the 508 with a 625 and also keep the 3900. I realize the 625 requires 2 inputs which would use my 2 existing inputs and that would leave me one short for the 3900.
So, my question is --- can I install a 2 for 1 splitter on one of the existing input lines and run one of the split ouputs to the 2nd tuner on the 625 and the other to my 3900? Will that work or would the splitter degrade the signal too much?
If that won't work, what is my alternative regarding the switch(es) I should use?
