Unlike some previous software updates (like some of the software updates that the 921 received) I didn't see where new bugs crept in.
It is like they just added a new software version number as psychological tactic (placebo) to satisfy until a real software update is deployed that actually has some fixes.

the only difference that I have noticed is the jumpy video and audio is gone.
I still get the following:
black screen of death
screeching black screen of death
lost ota timers when channel map down is enabled

Now, I am the exact opposite.
The jumpy video was there on TV2 before and it's still there -- but the jumpy video that was not present on TV1 is now there!
BTW, this was a screwed up thread -- it was supposed to have the poll attached, but I messed it up. The Poll is on another thread.

Oops, my mistake, this is the good thread with the poll. Damn, I must have had too much caffeine today!

James got rid of the other thread bogey. Thread looks good to me. I would be suprised if anyone found a huge difference with 3.57. Hard to say why it went out, my guess is to address something external to the box but I could be wrong.

Yeah, I screwed up that first one for some unknown reason. :)
This update actually made my box worse, as far as the video on TV1 & 2 goes.
It seems they changed the location of the CID popup too.

Just wanted to add that according to the release notes, L3.57 should not have really fixed anyting, except for something to do with the audio level of the modulated (Agile) output. HDMI issues, Jittery Video issues, or any other issues for that matter were not addressed. It is my understanding that DISH is working on the other issues. You can see references to this all over the forum from various members calls/e-mails to tech support, executive office, etc ...
Based on these release notes, no one should be expecting any of these other issues resolved. Hopefully fixes for these will be coming soon.
As far as people seeing more/less issues since L3.57 it's probably just coincidence. I know I personally see more issues later in the evening, than I do earlier in the day, i.e. more time since last reboot + more time spent watching shows = more issues. May not have anything to do with anything, but something I have noticed.
