SW64 power inserter question

I have the power inserter for the SW64 inside the house near the receiver. The black transformer that powers the power inserter gets pretty hot. When I touch it, I can keep my hand on it but not for very long because of the heat. Is this normal? I have never had a transformer get this hot.

Mine gets hot as well. Haven't had a problem with it yet...(knock on wood)

Yes, both my x-former AND the switch itself get real hot, too

face it-with E*, you get the "hottest" product around...

Mine got too hot one day and it broke stopped sending the signal out to the receiver.I had to get it replaced from dish.
