Question sent to Charlie Chat/Tech Talk

This is what I just sent to the Tech Talk/Charlie Chat for the up comming "show". I think these questions cover the majority of 622 problems. I would think that if many 622 users asked the same questions we might start getting realistic answers.

Regarding the Vip622 receiver can you please answer the following:
1. When will the HDMI problems be resolved?
2. When will the local HD feeds i.e. Salt Lake City, stop having audio and video problems (stuttering, over compression & out of sync audio)?
3. When can we expect to receive a stronger signal from sat. 129?

Not really. They were initially dumbfounded by the question. Then after the Engineer incorrectly said to dial in on 129, I think the question was finally understood but with no real explanation except that 110 and 119 burn alittle hotter. This is a Charlie Chat so I don't know how Techy they will get, but I think they understand the problem exist now.

My HDMI worked flawlessly for about a month on my vip622 then stopped as has happened to many others on dbstalk forums.
Are you trying to address HDMI problems with software updates or do I need to have you replace the vip622?

Also are you working on a migration path for Timers and Recordings when a Receiver swap is needed ?
