What is the current software for the H20?
Mine is 003E 020E, B00000113.

My H20 is on Release 0F06; I downloaded that on 4/14/06. You might want to try a forced download!

Sounds like Carl has the RCA built H20-100, he also has the orignal firmware for that unit. No new firmware has been sent for the -100's as yet.

gct must have an H20-600 with the latest firmware for that (LG) unit,

There are two versions of the H-20 (so far).

H20-100 (RCA). It has not had a firmware update sent and is still on the 003E original version.

H20-600 (LG). The latest firmware is 0F06.

I have a H20-600 and it runs much slower than the H20-100. Hopefully they will send a firmware update to speed it up (and fix some bugs) soon.

This is my second unit,the first one kept rebooting(if I recall correctly it was OFO6 and made in Mexico)My new one is defferent, it's alittle deeper and the front lights are blue and was made in China. Is this the 100 or 600?

If the front lights are blue it is the 100
You can find the model # inside the drop-down door on the right side of the receiver

Confrimed, H20-100 it is.How does this unit compare to the 600?

I had a 600 for about a week and I like the 100 better. The 100 is faster in the guide and faster at changing channels but has other problems. It displays OTA channels in the guide even tho I told it I had no OTA antenna. The HDTV channel selection in the guide does not show locals if you get them from the dish. The 600 does these things correctly.
The 600 was very hot and very slow in the guide and changing channels that's why I got a different one.

I have a D10 with the "What's Hot" feature and fairly easy to understand audio selection on the mix channels. Are these features planned for the H20?

Yes, but right now only the R15, D10, and D11 recievers can access interactive recievers.

H20-100's started receiving 020E on May 24, 2006.

My H20-100 has had 020E since it was installed back in April, it shows as the original software. Actually it reads exactly as Carl says in the first post in this thread.

The H20 does have audio selection for the mix channels.I belive it is the yellow button on the remote.

I think it just selects between the audios for the several different videos that are shown. Those ACTIVE units do much more:eek2: The H20 is not yet ACTIVE:nono2:
