Remote Battery Low

For going on two months now the TV displays the “remote battery low” message whenever I use my VPI122’s IR remote (green tabbed remote 1). I kept forgetting to buy replacement batteries, so about a month after the message first display I finally remembered. Now they’ve been sitting on my coffee table for a month and my remote continues to work just fine on the batteries that the receiver thinks are low. What gives? Anyone else have this happen?

Haven't noticed this on my 622, but I have the same thing on my 501... the message has been there for the past 6 months and the remote still works fine ;-)

we just got our 622 and remote one with new batteries dispaly low bettery went through some thing with dish tech couldnt get to work so they are sending new one to us he said it would be a universial remote and be sure and choose correct tabor it
