As I posted yesterday...I upgraded to the 211 in order to receive National Geo HD. However, several times when I've tried to watch it the program freezes for minutes at a time, or the picture/sound drops out completely. The installer warned me that the signal loss is common in this area. However, the customer service rep I spoke with denied that they were aware of any problem! He did ask me to check my signal strength...129 / transponder 22...it was 55 with clear conditions. I checked it this morning for a 20 minute period...again with clear conditions and the reading was 49-64 for 129/22. DISH is going to send a rep/tech out on Friday (23rd)...any ideas what I should tell him that might remedy the situation??? I know you guys have a lot of good advice. The installer did mention that they are considering a bigger dish, but that that solution doesn't exist at the moment.
