Nesn Is Hd Full Time

Charlie had stated in his last braodcast, the reason we couldnt get our local sport affiliate in hd was because they did not broadcast everything on the channel in HD only certain games and such. I just learned last night that NESN is HD fulltime and was wondering would that make it elligible to be on dish in HD Comcast has it as well as Cox. Also it seems to me that the feed is bad from NESN because it being reverted back to SD Any comments on this subject?

From reading other posts here local broadcast channels are a higher priority then Regional Sports channels. Personal, I would rather have NESN then my Providence locals because I can receive my locals with an OTA. Plus, dish has to deal with pricing, not sure if NESN falls in to this scenario, but some sports channels want to charge by each subscriber, even if the subscriber does not have a HD package. I am not sure if all this is true, this just what I have been reading here.

I called Dish the other day for a forecast when Providence will have local channels in HD and I was told that Providence was not on the list for this current year. Not sure how true this is.

I do not think we will have NESN anytime soon just the really bad looking SD. Some games are so bad that I would rather listen to the game on the radio.

Another thing that really stinks is that the Red Sox are on ESPN tonight in HD and it is blacked out to the Providence feeds. Yes, the game is available on SD NESN, But we do not have NESN in HD so why can't the ESPN HD be available?

I know it is not the same, but it is kind of like saying you can not watch ESPN because the game is on your local radio station.
