Blackouts

I subscribe to ESPN Gameplan and the games on local networks are of course blackouted. My question is if I change the zip code on my receiver will I then be able to view the games?

If you refering to your dish point/setup screen, no it won't work.
Dish Network has your Zip, so they know where you live.

Yes! Depends though where you are telling them you are "moving". That area may have more games blacked out on local TV?

The Zipcode you enter into the receiver only affects the DISH pointing calculations, that is azimuth and elevation.

Blackout calculations are based on your service address zipcode which you gave to the provider.
