Hi everyone.. I am a former loyal & satisfied UltimateTV user who just replaced both of my UTV's yesterday (each of them had one of their tuners die) with R15's. Thanks to everyone for the great info posted in this forum! I did briefly try searching for this info but didn't see an answer...

I like to record Seinfeld and it comes on both on local channel 11 and TBS 247. I went to the guide and chose to series record the channel 11 Seinfelds each night. But then I went to try and do it on 247 the single record indicator would appear and disappear but it would not give me the indicator saying it was set up to series record. When I select the show in the guide on 247 and click on record it tells me that all episodes are set to record, even though there is no indicator in the guide and nothing in the To Do list for any of the Seinfelds on 247 (there are several channel 11 episodes listed).

So my question.. since I have set it up to record Seinfeld on channel 11 does it mean that it will record Seinfeld on any channel? I hope not.. the Simpsons and Familiy Guy come on multiple channels too but I only want the Sunday night Fox showings.

If not, how do I get it to show up as a series record on TBS? I imagine if the same show comes on 2 different channels you should also have the option of prioritizing the recordings since the possibility exists of a recording conflict??

As I saw in other posts... many people are complaining that keeping a max of 5 shows is not enough! I also would like to see options for 10, 15, 20.. would seem to be an easy programming change.

You cannot currently setup SLs for the same show on multiple channels. Not sure if the R15 was designed that way or if it's a bug. But you can't do it and many here have complained. You can go into the guide and set manual one time records for the other shows (which is what you were doing with 247) but I haven't tried that to make sure it indeed records.

The answers to many other questions can be found in the FAQ here. (http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?t=58959)
