DHA? Best way to sign up?

My brother is signing up for E* and I was trying to use a ClubDish card which signs him up for DHA I believe.

I had a couple questions, are there any disadvantages to using a ClubDish referral card? Do they still receive the $10 per month for 10 months?

What are the other possible ways of signing up? He just needs a dual tuner DVR for 1 TV.

Yes Club Dish is the best way to sign your brother up.
He still gets all the normal promos like the $10 for 10 Months. It is a lease so if something breaks its covered under a 1 year warranty.

he gets $49.95 off the install (that install service fee),

with out the referal he can still get the install for free except they credit him with program credit a little each month.
I would rather have the $49.95 off up front in case Dish messes up on the bill doing program credit each month.

The person refering of course gets $5 off there bill, but I hear there are problems with the billing system and most are never seeing this credit, those few that do could see a 2-3 month delay in $5 credits. I contacted the CEO@echostar email and they said they have a new Club Dish promo starting next year that will fix all issues.

The best thing to do for now is to help the new person get the right new recevier and help them avoid that $49.95 install fee, as were all here to help. Next year we can hope for more $5 credits.
