Fast Forward/Reverse Speeds?

On my old UTV when I hit fast forward or reverse an on screen indicator came on and said I was speeding at 2X, 15X, 60X or 300X depending on how many times I pushed the button. With the R15 it just says 1, 2, 3, or 4..which really doesn't tell me anything. Anyone know what the actual rates of speed are at the 1,2,3,4 levels?

From my personal observations, I think they vary. I think they vary based on the length of the show you're FF or RR through. If it's a 30 minute show I think it's slower, of it's a 2 hours show I think it's faster.
