When will all the NYC locals (including wing slot 61.5) be moved to the 119/1 spot beam? Thanks.

ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX won't be moving to Spotbeam AT ALL - Dish is still going to be selling them as a national East Network feed. WPIX(WB) and WWOR(UPN) are part of the Superstations package, so they won't be leaving CONUS beams anytime soon, either (as long as E* plans on offering Superstations, anyway). The rest of the NY stations - who knows (or cares, for that matter) ? I would bet on more locals (say, HARTFORD) before the extra NY stations leave the 61.5 ghetto.

And you never know. PBS National could go away and be replaced by WNET as a PBS distant. UPN and WB could become national networks and WWOR & WPXI could be used as UPN & WB distants.

I doubt that the remaining NYC locals will be going to a spot on 119. The additional locals probably will go to the 110 spot beam.

I am not sure that ANY locals will leave the side slots.

Why cant you get national WB and UPN?

Becaus the WB and UPN DON'T meet the FCC requirements for a Network. Using the E* Superstations package is as close as you can get.
