OK ....I have a couple of questions/problems that i'm hoping someone thats computer savvy can explain to me!!!

1st problem.? I have a Samsung 160 D* HD receiver that has RGB/VGA out ..ok I can do a direct connect to my CRT computer monitor and the CRT displays an OUTSTANDING HD picture.....but when I plug the D* HD 160 receiver into a LCD computer monitor...it displays out of range..I cannot get it to display anything......Is it possible/inpossible to use my LCD monitor to view D* with a direct connection?

2nd problem.? I need a Video to VGA converter box to go straight to my CRT PC monitor via VGA (no computer required)and I was wondering if this product will work for me---> http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...1002&p_id=2002&

I want to connect the Samsung via VGA to VGA to this box and connect DVD player via S-video & also connect cable tv to box!!

If you look closely at the availible pictures were do I connect the Samsung 160???It has a 9 pin VGA input is this were I would need to connect my Sammy?

I just dont want to buy it,and it not do what I need it to do!!!

This set-up is for my daughters room...so it doesn't have to have perfect picture quality!Any help with info will be apprecited...thanks quickfire
