Binghamton locals

Has anyone heard any info when Binghamton NY will get locals? There are a lot of smaller markets that have locals.

With a DMA of 156 I doubt it will be any time soon. Those smaller markets you mention are probably close to larger markets and are getting significantly viewed stations. As a DirecTV sub I've basically given up on locals via DBS. So I put up an antenna to receive our limited HD OTA.

However, you can t get "significantly viewed" stations over DBS without first getting your "true locals". There may be one exception to rule this in the South, and then that is just for a statewide PBS feed.
