If there is no swap out program for those of us who already have a HR10-250 (and a 5lnb dish in my case) already -- I will be disgusted.

Earl, since you have changed your avitar to the "blue eye" of the new HR20, and there are reports of the HR20 being available in the LA market, how long until you can post your review?

Yes I called customer retention this morning and after checking he said it was available for $399 so I then proceeded to say I just did the HR10-250 deal and he waived the $399 fee but still made me pay for tax and shipping :rolleyes:

I could have has the unit installed as early as tomorrow but since I dont trust my wife with installs it will have to wait until Sunday.

Earl if you have a review I'd love to hear it ;)

If you read the post in the link provided in OP, it appears that individual managed to ge the swap an no cost .....i am sure this is a future CSR roulette game.....

Ok, some may have seen my first report this morning. I called and they gave me the standard price. Thinking I may wait. I told them not now.

So I figured I would call Cust retention. First call the lady was very unhelpfull and insisted that I did not know what I was talking about on the HR20.
Ok, thank you for your help and back to CSR roulette. The second lady I talked to had the same initial response. I politely persisted and she checked (2 times) and came back with Yes it is available to you. Now I was ready for the high lease cost, but this lady came back with the $19.95 plus tax and when would you like it to be installed.
Sign me up.. Friday afternoon I am scheduled to receive my HR20... We will see if Ironwood can make it to this one... But that is another story...

Why does Temecula get the HR20 before those of us in San Diego county? Temecula is closer to us than LA.

Same purpose it does on the R15... and if you don't like it, you can turn it off ... just like in the R15

It's appropiate for him to wait until D* make their release official, I think.

hahahaha because Temecula is considered part of the LA market :D Lived in San Diego for 10 years best move I made was going up here to wine country
