Am I the Last of the 4400?

After last weeks episode being especially good (it included the return of Jordan Collier, Tom's wife & son and of course Tom's old boss as now bad guy made another appearance, so it kinda felt like a reunion) they said in the previews for next weeks ep "there's only two episodes of The 4400 left". I didn't really give it much thought at first, just figured that yeah the season for this show is winding down. But then I thought the way they worded it made it sound like that maybe it was the two final episodes, not just the end of this season. And it did get me thinking, well I haven't really heard the "buzz" that surrounded this show this year as the past two seasons. There was always stories about it and how good it was doing in the ratings and such, but not so much this year. Of course it also occured to me that no one was discussing here (myself included) as in years past. So is the 4400 on it's way out? I've done some checking and I haven't seen anything that indicates that it's being cancelled, but nothing that says it's not either. So am I the last one watching and no one bothered to tell me? :lol:

They only have a 10 episode season which I think really sucks but from what I understand they were picked up for at least one more season.

Not sure how they are doing in the ratings but it is one of our favorite shows.

No news on a 4th season yet, but thats not unusual with USA.

Expect news around Sept/Oct on renewal. Thats when they announced S3 that we are watching now.

Actually the 4400 runs in a 12 episode season (or 13 if you break up the usual 2 hour first episode)

After this weeks ep they identified next weeks as the "season finale". That surely doesn't make it a foregone conclusion that there will be a next season, but on the other hand it at least tells you that they haven't decided to cancel it at this point either. So at least there's hope!:)

USA is keeping "The 4400" earthbound for another year.
