Anyone watch that? Of course they picked the perfect person to roast, no problem with material to work with there. It had it's hilarious moments and it's gross ones, mostly provided by Andy Dick going around licking peoples faces. I think George Takei's was the highlight with the whole....bbbbbbbbbb....thing (it's hard to describe in writing but if you saw it you know what I mean). I nearly fell on the floor when he did that, his wrap up with his comment about Shatner and his horse was pretty good also.
Sorry I missed that -- perhaps a heads-up next time...

lol. George Takei was really great. It's probably going to be repeated on Comedy Central a ton over the next couple of weeks. I thought most everybody I saw was really funny, but Farrah Fawcett had some trouble getting her jokes out.
I completely forgot to DVR it :(
I'll have to check for when its being replayed.
Listening to the Farrah bit during a radio blurb made me cringe!!

Farah sounds like she is drunk or on to much medication when ever she speaks in public. She sounds nothing like she did back in the 70s when she first started. I guess life with Ryan Oneal was much harder than we thought.

There were a number of really funny moments. I agree that either Fawcett was stoned or a damn great actress playing a stoned person. Betty White was actually coherent - last time I saw her it seemed like she wasn't all there. I was surprised at how raw the show was and how much of it focused more on Takei than on Shatner. I kept asking myself was I watching Comedy Central or was it Logo ;> ? Takei was the standout - two of the best lines - it rhymes with toupee and ... and the horse you rode in on, though the brrrrrrrrrr cake reference was worthy of an episode of Howard Stern.

Shatner was perfect. His final monologue was funny, and Jeffrey Ross was loving it as he gave as good as he got......
my fave VERY unPC line..... Shatner (I'm paraphrasing)": "We took big risks on Star Trek,.... we had an Asian drive and a Black woman look at pictures on a TV screen without yelling things at it".
BTW, for those that loved this... go rent the movie "Free Enterprise". made 10 years ago, it isw about two guys who worhip Shatner and try to get them to do a movie with them (which turns out to be a rap musical about Julius Caesar). Hilarious bits....
