Hi, I had 002 error while trying to watch ARTS and Pentagon from 148 Echostar sat.
Also, I discovered that I don't get a signal from ANY even transponder on "Signal strenght" screen. I called Tech Support, they asked me to try with my both receivers.
I did, it's the same thing: no tp 2.4,16 and 24, which I need. I connected receiver directly to the dish, ran a check switch to get signal only from 148, and it's the same result. Before I call tech support again, I would ask an advice, what should I do:
A. Repair this dual DishPRO LNB (Is it possible?)
B. Call Dish and ask to come and replace (Does anyone know , do they charge for it, and how much?)
C. Get an LNB off eBay and replace myself?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

All Right, nobody dares to respond...:D
But here are the news: I called techsupport, it's $49:nono: charge to replace
LNB, or they may charge 5.99 for "Dish Protect" every month (makes sense if you have a DVR with possibly often faulty HDD, as in another thread was told).
So, this makes option B out of question...
How about option A: Is it possible to repair LNB?
Anyone?

DISH won't even repair LNBs they just toss them. The DHPP is your cheapest option at $5.99 cancel after problem is cured. Second cheapest is probably go to Ebay and buy a working/new Dish Pro LNB and replace it your self, if you are sure that is your problem.

Sounds like it's definitely an LNB problem. I had to replace one myself last week on my Dish. There's no way to repair one - you'll have to replace. If you don't pay for the protection plan, and you're outside your 1 year of warranty, you'll have to buy it from one source or another. Ebay isn't a bad option for that.

Thanks, boba and Mark for your responses!
If it's not repairable, this is I am going to do:
I will take DP21 and put it next to receiver. Then I will run the 148 cable between DP21 and "Loop Through" output from my motorized FTA system, which has a circular LNB attached at a side of the linear one. When I need to watch ARTS, I will drive a motor to 148W with FTA receiver, then turn it off, then watch ARTS from DP301, connected to the switch. At least I will test this setup, and if it comes successful, I will just dismount the wing dish forever
