Like many, after having upgraded to R15 a month ago, I'm not very happy with the systems on the device but the most frustrating is not being able to get the series recording to record First run Only. I continue to get repeats that fill up my max of 5 recording and then I miss the show I wanted to see.

Does anyone know how to get this thing to only record First Run's on a series. (First Run Only" is the selected option:nono2:

First Runs is hit or miss. Some channels/shows are better at it than others. It's being worked. For the time being, why don't you increase your Keep at Most setting so you don't miss stuff?

The only real way to do this, until the R-15 is fixed, is to look in the To Do List and delete the dup shows daily. Some complain about doing this and yes we should not need to but all it takes is a few seconds a day to do.

Every morning when I watch the news with my coffee is when I do mine. The network channels and a few others are really good with this issue but others like A&E, COM, MTV, etc.. are bad.

This is my biggest issue, the morons working over there need to be fired..

This is a basic function that should have been fixed before this box even shipped on day one.

Has anyone determined the cause of this?
Is it due to poor information in the guide? How does the R15 determine what is first-run?
If it bases the decision upon incorrect or lacking guide info, that is a different problem.
