Release Date for NY Area?

I've tried searching, but haven't been able to find any information about a proposed release date for the HR20 in the NY area. I know their is expected to be a larger rollout in September, but I'm just trying to find out whether that will include NY. Does anyone have any info?

When the "larger" rollout occurs... it should be for everyone...
So mid-late September is the time frame.

Thanks Earl. I actually filled out that form yesterday and got an email confirmation that I've been added to the list so I guess that I've done everything I can as of now.

Hey, I didn't get a confirmation. I thought it said there wouldn't be a confirmation, just an e-mail when it was available.

I didnt fill out the form as it seemed to want WAY to much personal information for my liking.

Seems to me just a zip code, email address and your name/handle should be enough.

Supply will be very limited in the first few months and then open up to meet the demand.

Many north eastern US advance orders will will have their HD DVR's before 9/18.

Hi All...Just wanted to pop in here real quick...

The e-Mail auto reply was just added a day ago for some people seemed lost by not getting anything. Spam filters and ISP's can play a part if you receive one or not. If you were redirected here, you added to the list. If not, you would have received and error page for it will not redirect until it adds to the database.

Got word from DirecTV today that e-mails should go out next week about the release date and the pre-ordering info to the people that signed up on the list. The e-mail will come from them directly.

I have no further information on the topic that I can officially give out.

Looking forword to next week.

I stand corrected. Thank God we got that email last night telling us to keep waiting. I can see why you were looking forward to that. It was very exciting to be told to wait longer.
