Directv/Echostar Merger?

I was looking at an article on the Hughes web site regarding what will happen if the merger goes through What they said is that if the merger goes through there will be one rate and one card for the entire nation. Even though I am not a Pegasus customer, does this mean that Pegasus may go out of business, and those customers will get better rates?

On the last Charlies Chat, Charlie said that the NRTC subs would still remain NTRC subs ever if the merger goes through. :(

Pegasus tells a different story. They say they will be the exclusive distributor for both in their area. this is why we have lawyers.

just to clarify... one rate card, not to be confused with smartcards. I doubt they have made a decision on that.
