Directv web site shows WB (now CW) as a HD network along with fox, cbs, nbc, and abc that should be available nationally. However, I do not see it on the channel selection. Does anyone know a trure status on this? I am in NYC area and get the other Networks in the 80-88 channels.

Has the switch occured? to CW... but regardless.

I think there is only one area right now that has WB/CW in HD
And it is party of the Local-In-Local HD packages... it is an MPEG-4 offering.

So unless you are in the region that has that one, I don't know if it being offered or added to the MPEG-2 offerrings in the 80's

No change of WGN in Chitown (CW now) being added in HD MPEG 4 before the fall TV really gets started?

I don't have mpeg4 but I believe the Sacramento market has the CW (formally UPN) in HD (ch 31).

They don't have Fox yet, however....at least according to Directv's website.

For DC locals I don't have the CW yet but now the former UPN channel has HD turned on. Its the 'My Network TV' channel.

The stations are showing either CW or MyNetwork logos, but the programming changeover isn't until next week, as far as I can tell (the guide on my H20 doesn't go out quite far enough to verify this).

MyNetworkTV starts next week (Tuesday, September 5th), but "The CW" doesn't begin until September 18th.

And the most annoying part is that when I turn to channel 20 it defaults to the SD channel and not the HD channel even though I don't have the SD channel listed for my 'family' setting. The other locals default to the HD channel.

It is showing in HD though when I go to the other channel 20... gotta love that...

Any updates on this yet? I have the distant WB SD feed right now. What are the odds will direct tv offer the CW in SD and HD to current distant wb customers?
