I got my HR20 with T9 dish today...

Installer also run another line for HR20 and finally one for R15 that I didn't have since day 1 (Thanks Earl for your advice for me not having correct installation)

When I had H20 in my living room, i connected component cables to home theatre systems and HDMI to TV... so if I don't want to bother to turn home theatre system, i just turn tv and receiver...

This HR20 some reason, I don't get anything on HDMI port... TV detects cable connected but no signal...

Another technician who knows HR20 well will come out on Monday (Labor day!!!) to check out why my HDMI port doesn't work...

Otherwise, it updated twice just today... from 9c to bb to be...

After BE install, it reboots at least like 4 times and finally up and running...

My god... this thing takes forever to start.... but I'm just happy that I finally got two lines to R15 and two lines to HR20 (installer had heck of time here in San Fernando Valley... it was about 95 degrees outside and he had to fish line from my attic :) )

Picture Quality... I haven't noticed much difference between H20 and this... Since I don't get any OTA, I can't compare anything like that...

It looks almost same to me between MPEG2 and MPEG4 local channels...

I'm just so happy that I can pause US Open Tennis and all that :D

One final note, compare to 3LNB dish, my god... AT9 is huge... and it seems like higher than my old 3LNB dish.. I hope our HOA officials doesn't notice the difference....

Your HOA cannot regulate dishes under one meter in diameter, no matter where on your property you choose to locate it. The FCC has taken this whole matter out of the hands of HOA's, local governments and the like. As long as your dish is under one meter (I'm sure this is the case) don't sweat the HOA. The FCC has much bigger teeth, and the regulation is quite clear.
