I just got off the phone with Retention. I'm getting $200 credit on my bill after leasing an HR20 for $399. They're also throwing in SUperFan for free this year.
They're coming out this coming Thursday.

I ordered direct from DirecTV and didn't use BB or another store.

CSR was very good. Said she couldn't give me a better deal because I already had a free upgrade this year.

In July I got a free HR-250 (lease) after moving to a new house.
They gave me free install new install for all four rooms with all new wiring and free HD package for 6 months.

I'm happy with the deal I got today.

I'm in NY. I ordered on 9/1 with an installation date of 9/16. I currently have the HR10-250 (own outright) and received a $250.00 credit to my account. The $399.00 is being billed at $133.00 for 3 months. The installation includes the 5 LNB dish and relocation of the HR10.

Just got my HR20 installed this morning. Installer said they just came in this morning and this was his first install.

Great deal, I tried that with retention with no luck so I went and ordered mine with VE then called D* to set up the install for the 19th. Good luck with the install btw. In our area its Bluegrass Satellite who does the work and they do a pretty good job, IMO.

I live in Orlando and ordered one through BB. After having the order go to backorder, I saw on a thread here that some BB stores had them in stock. Cancelled my backorder and ordered to pick up in store Friday evening. Got the last one (they only had two and both went to internet orders) and hooked it up Friday night. Took some time to get it activated correctly (not sure it is yet, actually), but picture is as good as H20.
