Is anyone successfully using the Harmony Xbox360 remote with a 622 receiver?
I just went through the setup for the remote. I can turn on/off the 622, change channels, get to the guide - basic cable box type stuff. I can't get any use out of the DVR though. Specifically I can't get to my recordings. Is there a way to setup the remote to add the DVR Button on the LCD?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Harmony 880 and every button is customizable I believe. Use the web setup to go into your remote's settings and I am sure that your Harmomy X-box 360 remote will allow you to set up any button you want to control the DVR.
One glaring omission from the 880 is that it did not have a DVR button as one of the main buttons. I set it up to my LCD screen. Other than that, I love everything about the harmony.

Thanks!
It took a lot of fiddling with the web setup, but I did find how to customize buttons. The nice thing about the Xbox 360 Harmony remote is that I have the Y X A B buttons for the Xbox on the remote and they can be programmed. So I have Guide setup as Y, DVR setup as X, LiveTV as B. That also allowed me to setup my DVD so that Y is the open/close toggle for the disc tray.
This is a really nice remote once you get it all setup. It just takes a lot of time to get it setup.

how were you able to get the receiver to respond? Everything else on my remote works, except for the fact that I can't control the sat receiver. Whenever I try to get the remote to learn the commands, I get a bad ir message. Also, what does it mean when it asks you if your receiver is set to SD or HD? The back off my box is not connected like that. Help, please. Thanks

The initial setup on the Harmony web based program did not work properly. I went back to the program / setup and checked the "Did not work properly" option. I then had to train the remote with my 622 remote. The program pulled down a different set of commands that did work. Once I got the remote to work with the receiver, then I went back in and reprogrammed the buttons on the remote to do what I specifically wanted them do. I have since setup "custom buttons" on the LCD for Guide, DVR, Search and Live TV.
The setup program takes a lot of playing with to find the options you need to get it working right. It takes a lot of time the first time, but once you figure it out it's really easy to go back in an customize it.

I also believe you can call Harmony, tell them what you want to do. They will create the 'macros" and you can download them from their website.
