Not sure if this has been posted yet or not but....
I just called D* to get my "deal" and she told me that Best Buy has the exclusive (outside LA I think) on the HR-20 until Sept 11. So basically what she offered me was a combo of different credits in the amount of ~$230 and then I had to buy the box on bestbuy.com + free install. Since I did not have an old HR10 I was happy with the deal and took it.. probably could have pushed harder but wasn't in the mood to be on the phone forever.
One question I have is since I am buying the box on my own and they never asked for a specific committment, am I committed for any defined term since it was not explicitly discussed before I agreed? I have seen others post that they felt like they never agreed to a specific term but it was implied in what they were signing up for.
