HR20 features?

Does the HR20 have the abilty to allow you to skip all of the way to the begining or end of whatever you are watching?

I know with Tivo if I wanted to go back to the begining of a show a I would just the forward button once while it was rewinding or hit it once if I wanted to skip to the end of the show, I can't figure out if the HR20 has that feature.

Lastly, are you guys just leaving the power on at all times or are you powering it down when you are not watching TV?

Unless you unplug it, the power is always on. Only the outputs are shut down. Hit the stop button while playing a recorded program and the next time you start it it will be at the beginning. Hit the exit to start again where you left off. Hold down the FF button for 3 seconds and it will skip to the next tic.

for r15, if you hold down the advance key it jumps to the end and holding down the replay key jumps to the beginning. it should be the same for hr20.

you're right, it doesn't - my bad. i would've have thought that holding down the replay would be complementary to holding down the advance key. i guess they forgot to add that feature.

Again, what you describe is "intuitive" and logical. But alas not how this baby was designed. Maybe the development team can take note on this issue and make an adjustment.

Where is the 'replay' button on the R15 remote? I don't see it.

It's the counter clockwise button just left of the STOP button. Above RR.
