I am just wondering if i should be getting any signal on the new 99 sat yet or is it not online yet? Also i notice i am only getting signal on 3 tp's on sat 103, is that normal. I am not using this new dish yet and shouldn't need to until the main hd package moves to mpg4, i get my locals using OTA antenna. I just want to be ready incase they move to mpg4 in the middle of winter. Thanks :)

It is online, but the 99 and 103 satellites are spotbeam-only, so unless you are located near where the beam is pointed you will not see any signal level for the transponders.

Does anyone happen to have a active tp list for both new birds? All i can find is a channel list. Thanks :)

I too would love to know this. My highest signal on the 99* is 80 but on the 103* it is just 60. So I would like to know which one of my whopping 2 locals is on.

well i got signal on 4 tp's on sat 99 highest being 80% (tp14) and also have signal on about 5 tp's on sat 103 highest being 65% (tp18) but when it runs a test it passes sat 103 but fails sat 99. I also have good % on 101/110/119 which passes too. This is my first time aiming one of these dishes. Does anyone know why it won't pass the 99 sat?

Thanks :)

That seems to be "normal". My HR20 "fails" both 99 and 103, yet has signals from both and all of my channels are fine.

Well maybe it is the firmware then. I don't even have this new dish hooked up to either my hr20 or my h20 because i get all the locals i need using ota. I just want to be sure i have it aimed right in case they switch all hd over to mpg4 in the middle of winter. Then all i have to do is run new rg6 feeds and done. Thanks for the reply though :)

Thank you much. Where did you get this info from?
Had first "hard rain" yesterday and today. I was shocked that nothing went out. i thought for sure with my low signal on 99* that it would drop, but nothing did. Again, it wasn't a full blown storm just a good heavy dark cloudy rain. So I was pleasantly surprised. We shall see though what future brings.
