Fellow DTV users/consumers
As someone how just recently had an HR-20 installed less than 24 hrs ago.So far it isnt a bad unit at all so far I have ran thru the basic functions of it and it has done everything that I have asked it to do.
So many are unhappy for this because this feature doesnt work or such and such does work also.. Lets not forget this item is brand new and it will take time to get the various bugs within the unit and address them accordingly where as needed.
Being an early adapter on anything espeically that is electronic is going to have some problem some where dealing with a various issue. Some time being the first on the block to get the latest and greatest has its downfalls.
Remember when DVD players first hit the market how overpriced there where compared to todays prices..and the problems that came with them?and the movies started at 24.99 and up.
I am sure you can think of other items that are key in todays electronic society that didnt get off to the greatest start and they found a clue and got it right at some point
Techology is a fast and ever changing world, while on that path you will see amazing products and you will see ****ty ones(betamax) along the way also.
As a gadget person I really understand that twinkle in your eye when you see something you really like or at least have an intrest in it.As you do research and read reviews and opions from others. And you are setting on the fence asking yourself "should I pull the trigger and get this item"
We all have certain features and items that we are looking in a certain item of electronic equipment..thats only part of the natural process as a buyer.
Besides the Hr-20 is man made a machine something that was made for the sole purpose to provide enhancement and enjoyment to our DTV viewing habits. The unit as a whole may fit the basic needs of the viewer and others maybe disappointed because things are missing from it.
Happy Viewing
