I record PTI every day, well yesterday I happen to leave espn on before pti and after it recorded, so when I went to watch PTI it wouldn't allow me to watch from the begining, I had to rewind about an hours worth of espn to get to the begining of PTI....
Can I fix this? Pretty annoying since it's football season and I leave espn on at all times..

This may be a stupid question, but how did you go about watching the recorded show? Did you just try to watch via the live tv feed (rewinding back to the beginning of the show)? Or did you go to your VOD list and start it from there? Even if a show is in the process of being recorded, I start watching it from the VOD list and I don't have any issues.

I used the VOD, I tried it a few times, each time it wouldn't go to the begining of PTI, it was stuck mid way thru the 6pm sports center.

Figured as much... told you it was a stupid question :) But I figured that I had to ask. I've never seen that issue before...

I bet if you had changed the channel it would have worked. Almost sounds like it was kicking you to the buffer rather then the show.

I've had something very similar happen a couple of times. It was almost laughable because I did not lose anything, just had more than I wanted :) :( It think it's more like that the MyVOD recording did not become dissociated from the live buffer. In any case, I think cabanaboy1977 is correct. Try changing the channel. (You don't have to leave it changed, you can change it right back. It's just that every time you change the channel you break the current channel/live buffer association, and establish a new one)
