A bit of a newbie, so please forgive...
I currently have a DirecTivo R10 receiver that using with its composite outputs. I just purchased a 37" HDTV LCD, and while for the time being I'm not planning to subscribe / upgrade to HD programming, I would like to connect my DirecTV receiver to my HDTV using component cables but the R10 model doesn't accomodate. Can anyone tell me what SD DirecTV receiver (preferrably a DirecTivo model) has component outputs? Or, are component cables only able to be used with HD receivers? If that's the case I guess I'd just use the S-Video output on the R10 DirecTivo???? Any insight, suggestions would be much appreciated...

The closet receiver to your requirements is the HR10-250.:) If you want to search for used receivers I believe RCA and Phillips made 1 or 2 that were SD with components but they should be about 3 years old.
