Can the AT9 be installed on the roof where my current Phase 3 3lnb dish is?
I just watched a video of the at9, the video said the weight and size of the at9may need to be located somewhere else.
So I am just wondering if it can be put on the roof, if not I have no idea where they will install it.
Getting it installed sept. 28 I was going to run all new better cable and have the cable all set for the installer to screw to the at9. but I am thinking maybe I should hold off. Just in case I need to put the At9 somewhere else.

It can be installed on the roof provided you can be completely assurred of hitting studs/roof rafters. The AT9 is a big (25 x 30) heavy dish with a lot of wind surface area. Two key items here: it needs to be absolutely dead-level plumb and rock solid/rigid.
It will not fit on the same mast pipe as your phase 3 dish. The AT9 uses a larger diameter mast.
I anchored mine to the chimney (into the brick, not the mortar joints) with 6 heavy expansion anchors and also used the two outriggers that came with the mount. That thing is so solid I can stand on it.
Unless you're planning to run RG11 to it, I'd let the installer use whatever he has on his truck. They usually use a duplex (figure-8) cable with a copper messenger for ground wire molded in.

I have the AT9 installed on my garage roof. Its been up there since May. No problems. Make sure you use the monopoles.

It does look like I am aimed right at the trees, but its aimed off to the right of the trees. I think its just the angle I took the pic from.

How many wires do you have connected , I know it should have 4 but looks like you have 6 or more wires coming off it. Are they for ota
Or are they connected to the dish why????
