HTVN, PAEC, KBSWD, PNTGN worth it?

Anyone watching HTVN 9417, PAEC 9418, KBSWD 9850, or PNTGN 9405?

They are part of top 60 that my system wasn't set up to receive.

I watch the Research Channel a lot, UWTV, UCTV, and once in a while the Documentary channel.

So, I was wondering if it might be worth while to get the above channels also?

I've watched the Pentagon Channel from time to time. I once had a DVR event set on the Air Force news update. They are all PIs ... and can be interesting from time to time.

You should be getting all of the PI channels, unless you have Dish 300.

Those channels are on the wing dish (148or 61.5) so you need a 2nd dish

PI channels are required for each sat location, those listed require 61.5 or 148.

The PI channels are hard to tell someone else they will like or dislike. Personally I have a strong liking for RFDTV 9409 and virtually ignore everything else. That dosen't mean the programming is bad it just means I am not very interested in it. So it is very hard to answer your question for recommendations.

If you watch the channels I've mentioned I like, and you receive the channels I'm interested in, I'd like your opinion.

I just watched an interesting show about the CA housing boom, why there isn't a housing "bubble", why "low" interest rated don't make housing more affordable, and more about what drives housing prices.

I do appreciate the people who have taken time to post a response to my question.

OK, so if I want to get the public interest channels off of the wing sats, what sort of switch is needed? Also, I have dish 500 with two sw21 switches, an original dishplayer and a model 3000. I have an extra dish, but what's the cheapest switch to get er done and can my receivers handle a third dish?

just having the pntgn channel is worth it to me as a veterian,you get more military info then cnn,or fox will ever tell you.
