Two or three years ago the tv networks complained to the NFL that the local affliates were losing advertising revenue because the ST people could watch their teams game on the 700 section of channels. I didn't have a problem with it then, but now I do.

Now we do not have access to the ST Super fan interactive items while watching our local team because the interactive items are only available on the ST channels, 700 - 716.

Why can't DTV put the interactive stuff on the local channels as well? There has to technology out there to do this. I think we are getting ripped off!!!

Does anyone else have any other suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

Thanks,

Jim

Just another thing Directv didn't think through.

I noticed that our local CBS affliate had listed the Texans vs Colts game. They must have switched it very late because the Dolphins game was shown instead. But of course Directv didn't know this and the Texans / Colts game was blacked out on Sunday Ticket! So if you were paying big bucks to watch the Colts or Texans you missed the whole first half! Finally at halftime they got it fixed on Directv's end! What a joke! Thank goodness I wasn't a fan of either of those teams.

I think they should just put the games on the locals AND the NFLST game, just so you can get the stats and wrap around scoreboard feature.

O.K., when you watch the NFLST channels, they show all of the same commercials as the locals. So even though you are not tuned to "local Fox 35", you are still watching the "local Fox 35" feed, with the same commercials.

Besides, there are rarely any "local commercials".

I watch the Chicago Bears every week from Cali, and haven't noticed too many chicago specific ads. They are all beer, cars, movies, etc. When I watch other teams it's the same ads.

So what is the difference whose commericals I watch, I already get the idea " buy Bud, drive a Ford, and watch the latest crappy Tom Cruise movie".
