I was watching the Notre Dame - Penn State game the other weekend and noticed horrible compression in spots. It was almost as if I was watching a YouTube file. Well, maybe not that bad. Has anyone else noticed this?

Sounds pretty standard for satellite SD.

You think that was bad ,you should see what Comcast calls digital SD where I am. It does look like YouTube. Don't even get me started on the analog.

Which Channel ??

I've never seen any Dish Network channel that looked like a "YouTube" file for many years.

But, of course I only watch a small percentage of the thousands of channels.

Also, Local Channels have quite a variation in quality.
