I need help with three sperate issues with my new HR20 (installled yesterday).

1. The channel guide seems very distorted and stretched, while the picture does not. The last or 6th channel on the guide sceen is unreadable. I tried the different formats (crop, stretch, and box) and it made no difference. On my H20 I had the option to center the screen in the setup mode but I don't see that on the HR20?

2 Does the power need to be on to record shows. Meaning do I need to leave the HR20 on all the time or will it still record if the power is off?

3. How do I switch between turners?

Thanks!!

1) I don't have an answer for you.... are you using the same video input on your TV as the H20 did

2) You don't really turn an HR20 off , unless you un-plug it. Hitting the power button just shuts down the outputs, and tells the unit you are done.

3) There are no dual buffers on the HR20, so there is nothing to toggle between.

Earl,

Thanks for the response!! I am using the same HDMI input as I did for the H20 and everything is fine except for the channel guide. Is there a way to center the screen like you could with the H20?

Doesn't look like it. Does your TV have any options to change the overscan setting? This may help with the guide being cut off. Try playing around with the formatting options on your tv also to see if this improves things.
